Last summer's biggest little fete.

Our fete is having a year off in 2009. We're working on exciting ideas for next year and will keep you posted.

We had a lovely time at our innocent village fete last summer, even though it rained a bit some of the time. Below are just some of the many highlights of the weekend.

And we'll have all the stuff that good fetes are made of including:

A big farmers' market (with stallholders from Borough Market), loads of stuff for the kids to do, licenced real ale, cider and other bars, lots of lovely food, an arts and crafts area, places to picnic, a few smoothies, massages and a shady spot under the trees if it all gets a bit too much.

    Boring facts:

When: the fete is open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August.
Where: it's in Regent's Park in London, here's a printable map if you're not that familiar with the area.
Why: because it seemed better than staying at home and watching Columbo.
